Nokomis Beach is the oldest public beach in Sarasota County and encompasses 1/3 of a mile. If you are looking for culture, Sarasota has a variety of venues to visit such as the Ringling Museum, and Venice to the south offers many cultural events throughout the year. A variety of great restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues like movie theaters, bowling alleys, golf courses and more are also abundant in Sarasota and Venice.
